2024 Biddizza Skin Contact

• Alcamo, Sicily
• 90% Catarratto, 10% Zibibbo
• Organic, Biodynamic

Biddizza (Bid-deets-sa) translated means 'beauty' in Sicilian dialect, is a skin-contact white wine born in Alcamo, a historic winemaking region in northwest Sicily between Palermo and Trapani. Surrounded by fertile countryside and cooled by the Mediterranean.  Biddizza is made with the knowledge of the local terroir through many generations. It is made from 30 year old Cattarrato that is picked from the northern face of Monte Bonificato and Zibibbo grapes.  They spend 15 days on the skins separately for each varietal in stainless steel.  No use of irrigation, pesticides or herbicides.  This fun liter bottle leaves you wanting more.

Tasting Notes: Mandarin orange wearing a peach fuzz jacket with a touch of apricot jam. Dry and aromatic, with a savory edge.  Natural and unfiltered.  Pair with grilled octopus, aged pecorino and olives.

2023 Guthrie Heirloom Grenache

• Mendocino County, CA
• 100% Grenache
• Dry farmed, Organic

Guthrie Family Wines, founded by Blair and Caroline Guthrie, is a small-batch natural wine project based in Mendocino County, CA. Their 2023 Heirloom Carbonic Grenache comes from Larry Venturi’s legendary, dry-farmed vineyard in Calpella—organically tended head-trained vines planted in the 1920s. Larry, a third-generation grower of Tuscan heritage, continues the family tradition without irrigation. This vintage is 100% Grenache Clone A, a heritage selection via Tablas Creek from Château de Beaucastel. It undergoes carbonic maceration to amplify its vibrant, juicy character. The cooler 2023 growing season delivered fresh acidity, chewy tannins, and a wild medley of flavors: raspberry sherbet, cranberry, blackberry, red licorice, blood orange, and a bitter-snap Campari finish. Bottled with minimal sulfur and maximum soul, this is a playful, high-tone wine with zero pretension—just a vivid snapshot of place, process, and old-vine California history in every glass.

Tasting Notes: Juicy and bright with raspberry, blood orange, and red licorice. Light tannins, herbal snap, and a Campari-like finish. Pair with roast chicken, lamb kofta, margherita pizza, or salty chips and goat cheese.

2024 Raft Wines Et Al. Picpoul Blanc

• El Dorado County, CA
• 100% Picpoul
• Organic

Et Al. is a micro-winery project based in California, founded by friends and collaborators who share a love for expressive, honest wines made with intention. Their 2023 Picpoul Blanc is a standout—zippy, mineral-driven, and sun-kissed—sourced from sustainably farmed vines in the cool-climate Vista Luna Vineyard in Lodi. Picpoul, traditionally grown in southern France, thrives here on volcanic cobble soils, where it develops natural acidity and citrusy verve. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, this bottling captures a crystalline, seaside freshness—bursting with lemon peel, green apple, and a touch of saline. The finish is snappy and refreshing, made to pair with oysters, grilled vegetables, or nothing at all on a warm afternoon. Et Al. approaches winemaking like a conversation—with curiosity, humility, and a sense of place—crafting small lots for people who love to drink well, but not too seriously.

Tasting Notes: Crisp and zesty with lemon peel, green apple, and a hint of sea salt. Bright acidity and clean finish. Perfect with oysters, ceviche, grilled veggies, or simply sipped on a sunny afternoon.

2024 Domaine Turenne Camille Rosé

• Provence, France
• 40% Cinsault, 50% Grenache, 10% Syrah
• Organic

Domaine Turenne is a family-run estate nestled in the heart of Provence, just outside Cuers, where the warm Mediterranean climate meets the cooling mistral winds. Farmed organically since 1990, the domaine sits on clay-limestone soils ideal for producing elegant, expressive wines. Their 2024 Camille rosé is a bright, aromatic blend of Cinsault and Grenache, picked early to preserve freshness and vinified entirely in stainless steel. Pale salmon in color, it opens with delicate notes of wild strawberry, white peach, and rose petal, lifted by zippy acidity and a clean, mineral finish. Named after the winemakers’ daughter, Camille reflects both precision and softness—an everyday rosé with real soul. Unfussy but beautifully made, it’s the kind of bottle that brings sunshine to the table.

Tasting Notes: Pale and refreshing with notes of white peach, wild strawberry, and rose petal. Crisp acidity and a clean mineral finish. Perfect with grilled shrimp, salade niçoise, fresh chèvre, or simply sunny afternoons.
