2023 Landron Chartier Pét-Nat Rosé

• Coteaux d’ Ancenis, France
• 70% Folle Blanche, 20% Gamay, 10% Pinot Noir
• Organic

This Domaine Landron-Chartier Naturlich Pét-Nat Rosé is a lively and expressive sparkling wine from the Coteaux de la Loire, crafted by father-son duo Bernard and Benoît Landron. Situated in the Ancenis region, their estate spans approximately 25 hectares of organically farmed vineyards planted on mica schist and granite soils. Since transitioning to organic practices in 2010, the Landron’s have focused on producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of their region. The wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged on its lees for six months before being bottled without disgorgement, resulting in a lightly sparkling, hazy wine with a refreshing acidity and subtle minerality.

Tasting Notes: Bright and zesty with notes of peach, raspberry, and white flowers, this pét-nat rosé delivers refreshing acidity and gentle bubbles. Perfect with oysters, charcuterie, or light appetizers—ideal for aperitif hour or casual celebrations.

2024 Catch & Release Block Party Skin Contact

• Mendocino, CA
• 50% Pinot Gris, 30% Riesling, 20% Gewürztraminer
• Organic

Beno and Monica Stewart founded Catch & Release Wines in 2019 as a creative outlet to craft wines they love, collaborating with growers committed to regenerative farming. The 2024 Catch & Release Block Party is a vibrant skin-contact white wine from Mendocino, California. Crafted by Catch & Release Wines, this blend features Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Riesling—grapes known for their aromatic profiles. The Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer undergo 15 days of skin fermentation, while the Riesling, harvested later with a touch of noble rot, is added to the blend. The wine is aged sur lie in neutral French oak, enhancing its texture without imparting oak flavors. Fermentation was carried out entirely with native yeasts, and the only addition made was a small dose of SO₂.

Tasting Notes: This wine’s got juicy red berry vibes and a nice aromatic kick, thanks to some skin contact, but it still stays super fresh. It’s lively, tasty, and basically the Swiss Army knife of orange wines. Ideal for casual gatherings, this wine pairs well with dishes like Baja tacos, grilled shrimp and mango ceviche. Best served chilled, it embodies the spirit of a lively block party.

2024 Müller Grossmann Rosé vom Zweigelt

• Kremstal, Austria
• 100% Zweigelt
• Organic

The 2024 Müller Grossmann Rosé vom Zweigelt is a vibrant and expressive wine from the southern Kremstal region of Austria, crafted by Marlies Hanke, who took over winemaking duties from her late mother, Helma Müller-Grossmann, in 2023. The family-run estate, established in 1986, spans approximately 10 hectares of vineyards planted on gravel and loess soils near Göttweiger Berg. This rosé is made from Zweigelt, Austria’s most widely planted red grape. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and fruit character.

Tasting Notes: Fresh and elegant with notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of citrus, this Zweigelt rosé offers crisp acidity, subtle minerality and a clean finish. This one is really pretty!  Pair with prosciutto, goat cheese, or a summer herb salad.

2024 Domaine La Piffaudière Pif Sauvignon

• Touraine, France
• 100% Sauvignon Blanc
• Organic

The 2024 Domaine La Piffaudière Pif Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant expression of the Touraine region in the Loire Valley, crafted by Olivier Bellanger. Established in 2008, Bellanger's estate spans approximately 10 hectares of organically farmed vineyards situated on clay-limestone, flinty-clay, and sandy soils near Monthou-sur-Cher. The estate is certified organic and adheres to minimal intervention practices, emphasizing the purity of the fruit and terroir. This vintage is sourced from vines aged between 5 and 35 years. The grapes are hand-harvested, undergo direct pressing, and ferment with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged on its lees for five months in tank, with minimal sulfur added at bottling.

Tasting Notes: The result is a clean, expressive wine with aromas of white and citrus fruits, a slightly mineral palate, and a citrusy, saline finish. Bright and expressive with notes of lime, gooseberry, and white peach, this Sauvignon Blanc shows crisp minerality and a saline finish. Perfect with goat cheese, oysters, fresh salads, or as a refreshing aperitif.
